Mr Wrightson from Brentwood Essex had knee replacement surgery in 2012. Following his surgery, carried out by consultant orthopaedic surgeon Mr Harbhajan Plaha, Mr Wrightson contacted Spire Hartswood Hospital thanking the staff. Here is an extract from his letter:
"The purpose of this letter is to ask you to pass on my sincere thanks to my surgeon, Mr Plaha, the nursing staff, the Physiotherapy Department and last, but by no means least, the Catering Department.
I was treated throughout with the utmost courtesy, care and total professionalism by everyone I came into contact with.
In particular, Mr Plaha, Sister Jackie and Dave, the physiotherapist, were fantastic.
All your staff should be very proud of their dedication and compassion.
I would have no hesitation in recommending the Spire Hartswood Hospital to anyone in need of your services.
