A little poem by Dorothy Hill
I met some very special people just the other day,
to have an operation on my eye, I was on my way.
They greeted me with happy smiles and took away my fears.
No need to be afraid, no cause for any tears.
They made me feel I really mattered and was there for them to care for.
And when I thanked them they replied, ‘it’s the reason we are here for’.
May these special people have blessings from above.
May sunshine always light their way and fill their days with love.
