I am a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon based at Warrington and Halton NHS Trust. I specialise in upper limb pathology, treating acute and chronic conditions affecting the hands, wrists, elbows and shoulders.

My Basic Surgical Training (BST) was in Ireland (Royal College of Surgeons) and my specialist training was in the Mersey Deanery. This was followed by a recognised fellowship at Wrightington Hospital – an internationally renowned tertiary referral centre.

My research activities has lead to the publications of several scientific papers and a number of book chapters. My educational roles include acting as faculty in courses such as basic surgical skills, fracture fixation and FRCS (Tr & Orth) courses.

I perform shoulder surgeries such as cuff repair and shoulder replacements, as well as performing soft tissue elbow procedures. My practice also covers nerve decompressions around the elbow and wrists; as well as conditions such as Dupuytren's contractures and trigger fingers affecting the hand.

As a commissioned officer in the RAMC, I have deployed on Ops and served within my role as a Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon. I split my commitments between my military and civilian roles.
