From beginning to end I felt in good hands. Not only does Mr Maheson listen well but he also explains everything clearly and inspires confidence in what could be an anxious pre-op phase.
The operation itself was hugely successful and I was home within 24 hours able to walk with two crutches. One week later this was reduced to one crutch and a further week later I was walking unaided and pain free. Three months post-op I was able to enjoy a challenging mountain trek in Central Asia including a hike that equated to climbing Snowdon. I will certainly be contacting Mr Maheson when the my other hip needs replacing. My thanks to Mr Maheson and his team. Mr Maheson is a very gifted surgeon and the procedure he is doing is revolutionary and changes people’s lives. We should shout from the rooftops about it!
