  • Ms Anna Moon has been a Consultant Hand Surgeon at Worcestershire Acute Health Trust since 2005. She works across all three locations, Alexandra Hospital, Worcestershire Royal Hospital, and Kidderminster Hospital. She set up a countywide hand service which covers Worcestershire and part of Warwickshire.

Ms Moon deals with secondary and tertiary referrals. She wrote her PhD thesis on microsurgical techniques in hand surgery. She has extensively trained with specialists in hand surgery and microsurgery and performed more than one hundred replantations (microsurgical re-attachment of amputated hands and fingers).

Ms Moon recently returned from her eighteen month sabbatical which was spent at a hospital in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, where she was working with plastic surgeons on complex hand injuries including microsurgery.
