Katy Martin is an Occupational Therapist with 28 years’ experience, specialising in hand therapy, splintmaking, rehabilitation to work, & in home / workplace equipment & adaptations. She has held positions within the NHS of Clinical Specialist in Hand Therapy & Lead Practitioner in Occupational Therapy. Katy left the NHS in 2003 to concentrate on providing rehabilitation services in the independent sector.
Katy utilises a tailored assessment of the individual & a problem solving approach to optimise a person’s recovery following surgery, injury or illness. Her special expertise is in hand therapy & splintmaking, where she provides rehabilitation services to individuals with a wide variety of issues, including post-surgery conditions, complex hand injuries & multiple trauma.
