Spire's flagship centre for sports and exercise medicine

October 2012

The new sports facility, St George’s Park was officially launched on 9 October. The centre was opened by the Duke of Cambridge, in his role as Honorary President of the Football Association. St.George’s Park is The Football Association’s (FA) new National Football Centre and will be the home for the 24 representative England teams.

The centre is also home to Perform at St George’s Park, Spire’s flagship centre for sports and exercise medicine, performance science, injury rehabilitation and strength and conditioning. Perform, part of Spire Healthcare, now has six centres in and around our hospitals. They combine cutting-edge technologies with elite physiotherapy and sports and exercise medicine expertise to help improve people’s performance in sport, life and work.
