Spire Parkway Hospital in Solihull offers paediatric surgery services for children aged three and over.
Paediatric surgery services for children aged three and over
The service offers a wide range of treatments and operations - all available in the comfort of a local, clean and private hospital environment.
Children can be seen by a paediatric specialist consultant surgeon within the chosen area of specialty - whether it be ENT, general surgery, orthopaedic surgery, plastic surgery, oral surgery, urology or ophthalmology. Each of our specialists has comprehensive experience treating children within the NHS.
A full out-patient service is available for children, including taking blood and minor procedures if necessary. We also now offer a specialist paediatric physiotherapy service to treat conditions such as developmental problems, cerebral palsy, children with juvenile idiopathic arthritis and sporting injuries. Call 0121 704 5546 for further information or visit our physio page.
We know that when children need to come in to hospital, it can be an anxious time for the whole family – that’s why we offer children and their families an opportunity to visit the hospital prior to admission, become familiar with the surroundings and meet the experts who will be involved in their care.
If surgery is needed, our young patients will be admitted at a mutually convenient time and will stay in a private, en-suite room with a TV. A specialist paediatric nurse will be assigned to them for the duration of their stay to ensure that all their needs are met.
To make a paediatric services out-patient appointment at Spire Parkway Hospital please call 0121 704 5527 or 0121 704 5541.
