I qualified as a doctor in 1981 and have since obtained an MD in 1983 and a PhD in Orthopaedics in 1991. I completed my orthopaedic training in the Wessex region after obtaining the FRCS (Orth) qualification culminating in a consultant position at the Birmingham Heartlands & Solihull NHS Trust (Teaching) in 1999.
Part of my training involved taking part in visiting fellowship centres of excellence in Spain, Switzerland and the USA. Currently my practice is divided into general orthopaedics / trauma and my special interest being lower limb surgery, including hip, knee and ankle replacements.
Private patients from Alcester Health Centre, Arrow Lodge Surgery and the surrounding areas can now access an Orthopaedic Consultation with myself at our consulting rooms at The Alcester Primary Care Centre.
The clinic is an outreach facility for The Spire Parkway Hospital in Solihull. The modern, state of the art surgery is an ideal location for private patients to have their initial and follow up consultations and minor treatments on their door step.
