Andrew is a specialist podiatrist with vast experience in the treatment of foot and lower limb conditions. He combines a wide knowledge gained in working solely in this field with a drive to provide his patients and those of other practitioners with a permanent solution to their problems.
As a partner in AJF Laboratories, he oversees the manufacture of prescription foot orthoses and constantly researches and develops new materials to ensure that all orthoses made at his laboratory meet the highest standards both in quality and functionality.
Andrew is an accomplished clinician with a proven track record in the management of complex foot and lower limb problems, including overuse sporting injuries and poor foot function caused by gait abnormalities. He has worked in specialist sports injury clinics, private hospitals and other health facilities where he has gained experience in managing and resolving foot and lower limb pathologies and is well regarded by podiatry colleagues and other health professionals as well as the many patients who have benefitted from his expertise. Most recently, he has treated athletes during the London 2012 Olympics.
Andrew has always been eager to pass his knowledge to other clinicians and has presented at national conferences and written articles for journals including Running Magazine.
Andrew’s current clinical work includes sessions at James Hatt Associates in Wiltshire as their Musculoskeletal and Biomechanical Specialist Podiatrist, working alongside physiotherapists and sports medicine physicians. In that role, he is helping to develop and expand the work of their clinics across Wiltshire and has presented at the GP seminars that they hold on a regular basis.
