After graduation, I completed specialty training in internal medicine in Shiraz University of Medical Sciences- Iran and worked as medical consultant in university and private practice for nearly 7 years, providing consultation for two busy private hospitals. In 2013 I finished specialty training in neurology in the West Midland's Deanery and became consultant at the Burton Foundation Trust, I currently work mainly in Solihull, but also Heartlands Hospital. My background in medicine adds a wider view to my approach to neurology patients.
I see more than 2000 NHS patients every year, from acute and chronic headaches, to complicated neurological disorders like neurosarcoidosis or stiff person syndrome. The majority are treated locally, but for those who need specific care, I arrange with other colleagues, specialized in that field.
