Mr Suresh Gupta has been a Consultant Urological Surgeon for over ten years. He is a general urologist with special interest in diagnosis and management of lower urinary tract symptoms, stone disease and female urology. He was instrumental in starting and developing Laser Urological Surgery at the James Paget Hospital. He offers laser prostatectomy (HOLEP) for benign prostate enlargement, which has minimal bleeding, short convalescence and postoperative catheter time. It is ideal for high risk patients. He has performed over 150 procedures and has an excellent outcome. He also undertakes a range of treatments for renal stone disease including laser lithotripsy.
His other interests include diagnosis and treatment of female urological problems. He offers latest minimally invasive treatments for female urinary incontinence: trans vaginal tapes (TVT, TVTO), botox etc. He regularly audits his results and outcomes and offers evidence based treatments to his patients.
Mr Suresh Gupta is married to a Genitourinary Consultant and has two lovely daughters. He is a keen sportsman and enjoys playing golf, cricket and badminton.
