Upper Limb Specialist
Maryke has many years of experience working in Australia, Canada and the UK. For the last 10 years she has specialised in treatment of the shoulder and elbow conditions and has attended many courses and conferences to develop her expertise.
She is a member of the British Elbow and Shoulder Society and was awarded their Allied Health Professional travelling fellowship in 2010. This provided the opportunity to travel to the National Orthopaedic Hospital at Stanmore and to Belgium to observe Professor Ann Cools, an international speaker and shoulder expert.
A member of the North West Upper Limb Group Maryke is soon to complete her Masters of Allied Healthcare at University of Liverpool. Her main focus of study has been the upper limb and her dissertation is on the treatment of frozen shoulder.
Maryke works closely with the upper limb members of the Bone and Joint Centre here at Spire Liverpool treating both surgical and non-surgical patients.
