Spire Little Aston Hospital's fundraising campaign for Pink Friday

November 2010

Spire Little Aston Hospital held a Pink Friday fundraising campaign to raise money for Breast Cancer Care

Each year almost 46,000 people receive the devastating news that they have breast cancer. Dealing with this diagnosis can be a confusing, lonely and frightening time not only for the person diagnosed, but for their partner, family and friends.

Staff, visitors and patients at Spire Little Aston Hospital in Sutton Coldfield helped raise £566.25 during the day with a homemade cake sale, dressing in pink and selling tombola and raffle tickets. This contribution will help the charity provide information and support to people living with breast cancer – online, over the phone, in person and via publications.
