Mr Gerard Kelly trained in Glasgow and Edinburgh and carried out a fellowship year in neuro-otology under Professor R T Ramsden in Manchester.
Mr Gerard Kelly's MD thesis was in research on the facial nerve. He has researched the training of junior ENT surgeons and has a Masters of Education degree.
Mr Kelly has an interest in otology (all ear and hearing disorders), neuro-otology (skull base surgery, acoustic neuromas and balance disorders), nasal allergy and endoscopic nasal sinus surgery (sinusitis treatment including balloon sinuplasty). He treats children with ENT conditions. Medical notes of all Mr Kelly's patients are kept on computer (data protection compliant) and therefore when he sees a patient he never suffers the common problem of not having the medical notes.
Mr Kelly tries to treat every patient like he would want to be treated, if he was sitting in front of a doctor.
