Thursday 19 November 2015
7.15pm for a 7.30pm start
In support of the Movember men’s health campaign, we are holding a free information evening at Spire Hartswood Hospital to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of men’s health problems, in particular the prostate.
The evening will be hosted by experienced urological surgeon, Mr Sandy Gujral, a consultant who has worked within the NHS and in private practice for many years and has had more than 50 urology research papers published.
Mr Gujral will give a presentation about all things prostate, from benign prostate problems such as inflammation and enlargement to prostate cancer, its signs and symptoms.
We will discuss what is ‘normal’ and the importance of detecting any ‘abnormal’ signs early. He will also discuss the latest diagnostic techniques and run through the treatment options available at The Hartswood.
Following his talk, Mr Gujral will be happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
Our open evenings are informal and light refreshments are provided. Guests are more than welcome to bring a ‘+1’.
