Mr Khandwala is a Consultant Plastic and Hand Surgeon whose current NHS practice is based at the Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, East Grinstead, and Darent Valley Hospital, Dartford.

His training in plastic surgery has included positions at Pinderfields Hospital, Wakefield, St James University Hospital, Leeds, St Andrew's Centre, Broomfield, Charing Cross Hospital, Chelsea and Westminster, Queen Mary's University Hospital, Roehampton and Stoke Mandeville Hospital. He graduated in 1986 from the University of Bombay.

Mr Khandwala's interest include aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery, in particular breast and abdominal surgery, liposuction and facial rejuvenation surgery. He is also a micro-surgeon and is involved with complex reconstructions including trauma, scar revision and hand surgery.

Patients are usually seen twice, before surgery for a full and in-depth consultation.

Mr Khandwala believes that a well-informed and educated patient does well following surgery. Mr Khandwala follows up his patients for a long time following surgery to ensure that they get exemplorey after-care.

I am married and as a means of relaxation enjoy swimming, photography, cycling and computers, having created four database applications for various projects.
