Medical conditions that are traditionally incurable, ranging from dementia to chronic pain, can often be difficult to deal with and can cause undue stress on sufferers and their families. Spire Fylde Coast Hospital, in conjunction with MAC Clinical Research are seeking patients who may wish to participate in vital clinical research. Our aim is to develop improved treatments for a wide range of medical conditions.
All medications from simple paracetamol through to life saving cancer drugs must go through the clinical trial process before they can be prescribed by Doctors. Without volunteers like you we would not be able to develop new and improved treatments.
We offer the highest standards of medical care and our team will provide you with all the information you will need to allow you to decide if a clinical study is right for you.
Our current areas of research include:
- Post shingles pain
- Diabetic foot pain
- Alzheimer’s disease
Are you eligible to participate?
If you are aged over 18 and currently suffer with any of the illnesses listed above then you could be eligible to take part.
