Background Information

Professional profile:

I graduated, with distinction, from Oxford Medical School in 1997 and completed my basic training at Leeds St James Hospital in 2000. I undertook and MD thesis in breast cancer and was appointed Yorkshire Deanery Higher Surgical training program in 2004. I obtained my FRCS (gen surg) in 2012 and spent the last two years of Registrar training in Leeds and Bradford, specialising in Oncoplastic reconstructive breast surgery.

I commenced my consultant post as a breast and reconstructive specialist in October 2011 at Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust.

Personal profile:

In my spare time I enjoy spending time wtih my children, cake baking and I play the piano. I also enjoy singing and have sung with the Bradford Festival Choral society. My outdoor pursuits include hill walking, running, camping and youth hostelling.
