The team below works with Mr Peter Driscoll to provide a multi-disciplinary approach to the treatment of Sportsmans groin
Mr Paul Gaston, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon
Mr Paul Gaston specialises in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of hip joint problems, a common source of ‘groin’ pain. He offers hip arthroscopy (keyhole surgery for the hip joint) and can advise on the management of adductor tendon and pubic symphysis problems.
Dr Scott McKie, Consultant Radiologist
Dr Scott McKie is a fellowship trained musculo-skeletal radiologist with a specialist interest in groin imaging. Most athletes will have abnormalities within the groin on scans (which may not be relevant to the clinical picture) so it is vital that the imaging is correlated with the expert clinical opinion of this specialist team.
Morag Lunn, Senior Physiotherapist
Morag Lunn is a Specialist Physiotherapist with a keen interest in the assessment and
rehabilitation of groin and hip pain. Often these conditions are complex and multifactorial, and respond well to a tailored exercise regime.
