Mr Kandasamy was appointed as a Consultant Neurosurgeon in 2011.
He completed his advanced neurosurgical training and fellowships in The Walton Centre, Liverpool, Alder Hey Childrens Hospital, Liverpool and Weill Cornell University / NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital / Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre, New York City.
He has a broad practice in neurosurgery and has expertise in both paediatric and adult neurosurgery including a range of spinal disorders.
Where possible, Mr Kandasamy will recommend individualised non-operative treatments. If surgery is required, his clinical focus is on patient centred operative strategies utilising the most appropriate and advanced minimally invasive techniques.
Having published over 45 peer reviewed articles in leading neurosurgical and medical journals, he regularly presents at national and international meetings and conferences.
