21 years of service rewarded

December 2011

Two nurses and a porter have been recognised for their long service and commitment to private healthcare after completing 21 years of service at Spire Dunedin Hospital in Reading.

Nurses Annie Barnes and Liz Meek along with porter David Macpake attended this special ceremony in London to be acknowledged for their loyalty and dedication to Spire Healthcare at its annual Long Service Awards Ceremony.

Annie, who splits her time between day surgery, dermatology, ophthalmology and many other areas of care says, “I absolutely love my job, there is no other hospital I would choose to nurse in”.

Paul Duhig, Hospital Director commented, “Annie, Liz and David are great examples of the type of people it takes to make a hospital such a success. It is with this dedication from our team that makes Spire Dunedin Hospital a first class healthcare provider.”
