Professional profile:
My medical training was at Cambridge University and Charing Cross Medical School. My subsequent clinical training was undertaken in London, much of it at the Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals. My research focused on echocardiography and angina.

I have published widely in these areas and was awarded an MD for this work. I have also participated in local and international trails in the fields of heart attacks and heart failure.

I was appointed as a Consultant Cardiologist at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in 2006 and have developed the echocardiography service and set up the implantable defibrillator service.

I am experienced in all aspects of the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac conditions. I aim to offer a rapid and efficient service and to ensure that you have a thorough understanding of your condition.
