Mr Jonathan Hull, who lives locally in Yateley and is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in the Orthopaedic Centre of Excellence at Spire Clare Park Hospital near Farnham, continues to find success in target rifle shooting.
Having represented Hampshire and England several times in the past two years, Jonathan has now been selected for Team GB for the forthcoming tour of the West Indies. Team GB will be shooting in Jamaica, Guyana, Trinidad and Barbados in April/May of 2013. The climax of the tour will be a major international test against Australia and Canada in Barbados, the last meeting of teams prior to the Commonwealth Games in 2014.
Jonathan qualified in 1983, spent 16 years in the army first as a medical officer and then an orthopaedic surgeon. He was appointed as a consultant in 1996, and then left the army in 1999. His special interests in orthopaedic surgery are hip and knee disorders. Hip replacement including revision, knee arthroscopy, ligament reconstruction knee replacement and osteotomy are all operations he undertakes regularly.
