Spire Cheshire staff climb to new heights

Sixteen members of the administration and out-patient nursing team will be climbing Snowdon on Saturday 12 May to raise money for St Rocco's Hospice.

The sponsored climb, is in memory of a dear friend and work colleague. All money raised will be donated to St  Rocco’s Hospice in Warrington.

Snowdon is the highest mountain in Wales and the highest point in the British Isles outside Scotland, so the team have been training hard and they are now ready to face the challenge.

The team will be joined by Mr Lee Robinson, Consultant Urologist at Spire Cheshire Hospital who is keen to get involved and help raise money for such a good cause.  Mr Robinson has devised a training programme for the team and he is making sure that they all complete it before they go

Tina Melia, Reception Team leader said: ‘The team have been busy getting sponsorship from family, friends and work colleagues and they are all determined to reach the summit together so they can raise money for such a good cause.’

If you would like to make a donation then you can find all the information you need on the Justgiving page www.justgiving.com/Team-Snowdon-2012-Spire-Cheshire-Hospital
