I provide a diagnosis and management service for patients with skin lesions, both benign and cancerous. For many patients diagnosis and treatment (if necessary) can be performed during the clinic.

I have 20 years experience in dermatology and use modern techniques including dermatoscopy for diagnosis.

Most lesions can be diagnosed in the clinic. Some patients require reassurance only. Many lesions can be treated using non-surgical techniques including cryotherapy. Some benign and most cancerous conditions require surgical treatment. Treatments include curettage, cautery, shave excision or formal excision with surgical repair.

The majority of removed lesions are sent for assessment by expert histologists.

I qualified in 1983 from Nottingham University. Following this, I worked in a variety of hospitals throughout the Midlands before being appointed as a Consultant in 1993.

I live in Chester with my two daughters, Eleanor and Lydia.
