Introduction

Spire Cheshire Hospital, formerly BUPA North Cheshire Hospital, offers high quality medical and surgical care to patients from Warrington, Chester and North Wales. The private hospital in Cheshire is set in secluded grounds and located on the A49, just off junction 10 of the M56 motorway. There is car parking and disabled access.

Our services are available to everyone – whether or not you are insured with BUPA, AXA PPP, Norwich Union or another private health insurance company. If you are paying for your own treatment, we offer one-off private treatment at Spire Cheshire Hospital, with a fixed price agreed in advance. We also offer services to NHS patients on behalf of the NHS.

Our comprehensive range of services at the private hospital in Cheshire include specialist treatment for orthopaedic problems and cancer (for example prostate cancer, skin cancer), and a breast cancer treatment service accredited by the leading private health insurance company, BUPA. We are also a BUPA-approved bowel cancer unit. Operations such as cataract surgery, colonoscopy, gastroscopy and vasectomy are carried out on a day care basis.

The consultants at Spire Cheshire Hospital include those specialising in the treatment of thyroid problems, arthritis, sports medicine and dermatology.  Consultant plastic surgeons who are members of BAAPS (British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons) offer cosmetic surgery including breast enlargement, breast reduction, abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), liposuction, facelift and eyelid surgery.

The physiotherapy department aims to provide fast and effective treatment to aid recovery from injury.  Treatment programmes are available for neck pain, back pain, sports injuries, post- operative orthopaedics, upper and lower limb problems and mobility.  Our physiotherapists also offer treatment for stress incontinence.

The radiology department offers X-ray, ultrasound, an MRI scan service, a CT scan service and bone density scanning for osteoporosis.

Spire Cheshire Hospital hosts a BUPA Wellness Centre offering a range of private health assessments.
