Dr Sarah Browne is a Consultant Nephrologist and Transplant Physician based at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff.
Dr Browne graduated from University College Dublin, Ireland in 2000. She completed Irish Higher Medical Specialist training in both Nephrology and General Internal Medicine.
She then held a combined clinical and research fellowship in Transplantation in the Kidney and Pancreas Transplant Program in the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. The program is an American Society of Transplantation (AST) accredited program.
She was awarded a Masters in Health Science (Clinical Epidemiology) from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada in 2011.
She has presented at national and international forums and has a number of peer reviewed publications.
Her clinical interests include all aspects of general nephrology, management of CKD, hypertension and glomerulonephritis. Her main subspecialty interest is transplant medicine.
