Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, Cwm Taf Trust (Prince Charles Hospital, Royal Glamorgan Hospital)
I have been providing specialist orthopaedic treatment in South Wales since 1996. I completed my initial training in India (gold medallist in M.S Orth degree exam). I undertook further training in Cardiff and Liverpool obtaining MCh (Orth) degree from Liverpool University.
I have been awarded the prestigious Senior International Fellowship by the British Elbow and Shoulder Society to visit centres of excellence around the world.
I have also previously been on a fellowship’s to Switzerland; received training in computer aided surgery in Hamburg and attended centres of excellence for knee surgery in the US, Europe and UK. I am a Royal College of Surgeons approved trainer in Acute Trauma Life Support,. I keep up to date with medical developments by regularly attending courses and conferences.
I have previously worked at the University Hospital of Wales and am currently an Orthopaedic consultant in the Cwm Taf Trust.
I live in Cardiff with my wife and two teenage sons. Wales has been our home for the past 15 years. We enjoy the vibrant life of Cardiff and the natural beauty of Wales. In my spare time I play badminton and cricket.
