Background Information 
Professional profile:
I trained in medicine at the University of Birmingham. I began my specialist cardiology training in the West Midlands before moving back to Wales in 2003. I completed my subspecialty training in echocardiography at the University Hospital of Wales.

I was appointed Consultant Cardiologist in 2008 and perform most of my specialist echocardiography at the University Hospital of Wales. I am clinical lead for echocardiography at Llandough where I also provide a general cardiology service. I am also the clinical lead for myocardial perfusion imaging at the University Hospital of Wales.  
Personal profile:
I am delighted to be working back in the city where I was born and brought up. All my spare time is devoted to looking after my young family.
