Mr Tolat's clinical practice at Spire Alexandra Hospital will focus mainly on hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder conditions. In particular surgical interventions such as arthroscopy, reconstruction (post-trauma) and joint replacements.

He trained as an orthopaedic surgeon at Nair University Hospital in Bombay, India and has subsequently spent ten-years training in the UK at centres of repute in Liverpool, Wigan and Sheffield.

Mr Tolat gained the CCST in Trauma and Orthopaedics at Kings College, London, where in 2006 he also completed a Senior Clinical Fellowship in Hand and Upper Limb Surgery.

He has written a number of scientific papers on his research interests (see above) and maintains an academic profile with Honorary Fellowships at Kings and Imperial College, London.

Mr Tolat dedicates most of his spare time in research and academic pursuits towards his career, however, outside medicine his hobbies include cricket, football and golf.
