Professional profile:
A graduate and fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland. Previously trained at the Royal London Hospital and Addenbrookes Hospital Cambridge. Fellowship in colorectal surgery at the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio, USA. Appointed as consultant general and colorectal surgeon in 1998, where I am lead clinician for inflammatory bowel disease surgery and nutrition.

I perform a full range of colorectal surgical procedures at Spire Murrayfield Hospital. Also particularly interested in colonoscopy, colonoscopic polypectomy and colon cancer prevention.
