    I have had training in general medicine as a Registrar in Whittington Hospital, London before taking up Neurology as a speciality. Whilst a Registrar/Senior Registrar in Neurology in Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Birmingham and St Mary's University Hospital in London I gained broad experience in general neurology. I spent a year as a Research Fellow and Honorary Senior Registrar to Professor John Marshall at The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queens Square, London and studied cerebral flow.

    1984 - 1997 Consultant Neurologist in the Ministry of Health, UAE.

    In 1997 I was appointed as Consultant Neurologist at Southend University Hospital and I am the lead Consultant in Multiple Sclerosis and headache.
