Professional profile:
I have been a consultant physician for over 25 years with a special interest in respiratory medicine and clinical allergy. I also have extensive general experience which includes hypertension, exercise, physiology and post myocardial infarction rehabilitation. I am clinical lead in TB, asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

For the past 10 years in this local area I have offered clinical allergy and respiratory services and have particularily developed expertise in asbestos related lung disease and medical thorascoscopy.

I currently offer allergy diagnosis management and treatment including desensitization as necessary.

I am one of the few specialists outside London to perform total lung lavage.
Personal profile:
My hobbies have now moved from the more athletic rugby and sailing to DIY and cooking. I am still a keen skier.

I am heavily involved in research and ethics especially at European level.
