Background Information

Professional profile:

I graduated from the University of Newcastle in 1988. I did my specialist training in gastroenterology and hepatology in the Northern Regional training programme.

My special interests are in therapeutic endoscopy and ERCP. I am an accredited bowel cancer screening colonoscopist and a member of the regional panel for training in colonoscopy.

I am the the Regional Training Program Director in Gastroenterology and am responsible for the organisation of ERCP training in the region. I have recently gained more experience in the endoscopic aspects of obesity management.
