ENT is a broad speciality involving the treatment of many conditions and the alleviation of symptoms to improve quality of life. I believe that each patient must be provided with information on the various available treatment options both surgical and non-surgical to enable them to make an informed choice in developing an individually tailored treatment plan.
I attended medical school at Guys and St Thomas Hospitals, London and qualified in 1999. I undertook my surgical training on the South Coast, West Midlands and London, including Great Ormond Street Hospital and Guys and St Thomas Hospital. I was then awarded a prestigious National Interface Fellowship in head and neck surgical oncology at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham.
I started as a Consultant ENT/Head & Neck Surgeon at Wexham Park Hospital and Honorary Consultant ENT/Head & Neck Surgeon at Northwick Park Hospital in 2011.
My main area of practice is in head and neck surgery including the treatment of head and neck cancer, thyroid and salivary gland problems.
I also undertake a full general adult and children's (paediatric) ENT practice, which includes neck lumps, swallowing and voice problems, nose and sinus problems, hearing and balance problems and snoring.
