Background Information 
Professional profile:
I trained at Birmingham Medical School, and initially worked in A & E and neurology.

I trained in ophthalmology in Southampton, Portsmouth and Cambridge and undertook further specialist training at Moorfields Eye Hospital, Great Ormond Street and Cambridge. Since becoming a consultant, I have been trained in endoscopic watery eye surgery and eyelid plastic surgery.

I currently perform most cataract removals using topical (drops) anaesthesia and phacoemulsification. I now run a Botulinum toxin service and perform eyelid plastic surgery (blephroplasty).

I have active research interest in Marfan's, nystagmus and intraocular lenses in children.
Personal profile:
I was born in 1963 in Stourbridge. I am happily married with two young children. Apart from my family my interests include golf, fishing and football.
