Georgie has been specialising in and helping cosmetic surgery patients for over 10 years and will meet you first to talk about the procedure you want to have. You will then have a consultation with one of our cosmetic surgeons.

If you are considering anti-wrinkle treatments (injection or dermal fillers) Georgie is fully trained and experienced to see patients for these treatments.

Georgie is always happy to talk through any concerns and can be contacted by phone or email. You can also arrange an appointment with Georgie at anytime through your journey even months after your procedure.

Mr Nigel Horlock

Mr Horlock has many years experience in plastic and cosmetic surgery treating both private patients and working in the NHS.

His plastic surgery training was broad and included all aspects of burns, reconstructive surgery, microsurgery, hand surgery and cosmetic surgery. He now specialises in cosmetic surgery and reconstructive micro surgery of the face, head and neck and breast.

Mr Cadier qualified in 1986 and undertakes a full range of cosmetic surgical procedures. He has helped develop and train other plastic surgeons in some of the more innovative cosmetic surgery techniques including  MACS Facelift, Coleman fat grafting to face and lips, vertical scar Breast Reductions and open Rhinoplasty.

Mr Sanjay Sharma

Consultant Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon




Mr Sharma works in both the private and NHS sector and is the Lead Clinician for Facial Reconstructive Surgery at University Hospital Southampton. He operates exclusively in the head and neck region and is also the lead for the Wessex Facial Nerve Centre helping to treat patients with facial paralysis. He lectures at both national and international levels and also has a special interest in skin cancer surgery including special diagnostic techniques for head and neck melanoma.

He offers a range of facial cosmetic procedures from minimal downtime procedures such as thread-lifts to minimal access facelifts, chin augmentation/reduction, blepharoplasty and forehead lifts.

Amanda O'Connor

Amanda has worked at Spire Southampton Hospital since 2001 and after having cosmetic surgery herself, she did additional cosmetic training in 2005. Since then Amanda has run her own pre-consultation clinics for patients considering plastic surgery and administering non-surgical treatments such as anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers.

Amanda is now a Sister in the out-patients department and patients are likely to see her for dressing changes after having surgery. Amanda continues to give non-surgical treatments in out-patients and may also see patients on the ward.

Lin first qualified as a nurse in 1976 and has worked at Spire since 2004. Lin is Ward Sister on Ward 3 which is where patients rest and recover after having had cosmetic surgery.

Lin and her team of nurses have now been looking after cosmetic patients for six years on Ward 3 and are very well trained and used to looking after patients who have had cosmetic procedures. The team link very closely with all the plastic surgeons and also liaise with Georgie and Amanda to give our patients the best care possible.
