Miss Premila Kollipara has over 35 years experience in obstetrics and gynaecology, having started her career in the UK in1979 at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Newcastle Upon-Tyne.
 
Miss Kollipara’s special clinical interests include early pregnancy problems and vaginal surgery and her research interests include the effect of polycystic ovarian diseases on women’s health.
 
Miss Kollipara is a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, a member of the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSSP) and a member of the British Association of Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology (BRITSPAG).
 
She is passionate about teaching and has been awarded the Top Teacher Award for three consecutive years from University College London.
 
Miss Kollipara is now a consultant at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust in Essex, and has specialist skills in colposcopy, ultrasound and female urinary incontinence.
