Professional profile:
I qualified in 1992 from the University of Aberdeen and went on to train in Ophthamology at Moorfield Eye Hospital in London. On completion of this higher specialist training in 2001, I pursued my interest in retinal diseases and gained a further 2 years of advanced, highly specialised and intensive training in all aspects of retinal surgery and treatment of retinal diseases.

I am currently a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon and college tutor at Portsmouth Hospital NHS Trust practising at Queen Alexandra Hospital and Royal Hospital Haslar.
