Mr Sauvé has published in many ares of orthopaedic surgery and this work has been presented at regional, national and international meetings.

He continues to teach medical students, surgical trainees and consultants alike as a faculty member on courses both locally and nationally.

Mr Sauvé is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a clinical practice dedicated to treating patients with problems of the hand and wrist.

Mr Sauvé is also a NHS Consultant at Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth. There he combines a busy elective hand and wrist surgery practice with general orthopaedic trauma and is part of the on call rota at QA Hospital.

He graduated from Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine at St Mary's Hospital, London in 1998 and undertook higher surgical training in trauma and orthopaedic surgery in the Wessex Deanery.

He subsequently undertook two UK based fellowships, firstly at The Hand Unit, Chelsea & Westminster Hospital in London and then at the prestigious Pulvertaft Hand Centre, Derby.  During this time Mr Sauvé won the BSSH Education prize.  He was also awarded the BSSH Travelling Fellowship.

Mr Sauvé clinical interest is in wrist injuries and in particular key-hole surgery of the wrist.  He undertakes all aspects of hand and wrist surgery.

Having represented his country at schoolboy rugby and played semi-professional rugby whilst a medical student it was inevitable that he fulfilled the medical stereotype and became an orthopaedic surgeon. Now that his rugby playing days are over he spends time with his wife and family encouraging his children in their own sporting activities. As an orthopaedic surgeon his problem is that he is no good at golf!
