I did my surgical training, research and MD at the University of Aberdeen and my higher training in Urology in Birmingham.

My speciality training included visiting Fellowships with international experts at the University of Colorado Health Science Centre, USA and the University of Johannes Gutenberg, Mainz, Germany where I developed a special interest in incontinence, complex voiding and bladder dysfunction and video-urodynamics as well as laser stone surgery, renoscopy and lithotripsy.

I believe in the concept of a "one-stop" clinic to provide a full clinical assessment, investigation and treatment in a single one stop visit for patients. I am organising the "one-stop" Bladder assessment clinic to include symptoms and quality of life assessment, prostate and bladder scans, electronic pelvic floor assessment as well as bladder pressure studies (urodynamics) if required.

I am very keen on health education and awareness for urinary symptoms and pelvic floor health. I regularly give group advice and discussions on "The Healthy Bladder" for both health professionals and patients.

I enjoy outdoor activities and hill walking, good food and Formula One. I also support Arsenal and Birmingham City football teams.
