I have been on the consultant staff at the Norfolk and Norwich Teaching Hospital Foundation Trust since January 2008. As an Orthopaedic Surgeon my specialist areas are adult foot and ankle surgery and paediatric orthopaedics.
As part of my training I completed specialist fellowships in foot and ankle surgery in Sheffield and paediatric orthopaedics in Melbourne, Australia.
I have completed research in areas relating to foot pressure studies and gait analysis (walking patterns) in reference to children's foot disorders, being awarded a post-graduate Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in 2005 for this work. Other areas of research have included orthopaedic issues in neuromuscular disorders.
I am happy treating the majority of foot and ankle disorders, including sport's related injuries, osteoarthritis, foot deformities and problems secondary to inflammatory and neuromuscular disease.
I also treat the full range of paediatric orthopaedic problems other than scoliosis and congenital hand deformities.
