Mr Warren trained at King's College Hospital, London and has research experience in fetal medicine and hormone replacement therapy.

He has been a consultant at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital since 1987. He is a generalist in obstetrics and gynaecology and has a wide- ranging NHS and private practice across the specialty with particular interest in menstrual irregularity, menorrhagia, hormone replacement, premenstrual syndrome, fertility and prolapse.

He has local, regional and national involvement with training and education. He is also the ex-regional adviser for the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and ex-chairman of the East Anglian Regional Advisory Committee in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

Mr Warren also recently served on the council of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) and has been chairman of the RCOG Workforce Advisory Committee and Honorary Secretary of the RCOG (2004-2011).
