Outpatients appointments at Spire Leicester Hospital once a fortnight on Tuesday afternoons. Mr Chaudhri also sees private patients at Syston Health Centre once a month on a Tuesday evening.

Professional profile:

I trained as a surgeon whilst serving in the Indian Navy, then furthered my training in the UK at Academic Colorectal Units in Newcastle upon Tyne, Liverpool and Birmingham before being appointed at the Leicester General Hospital in 2009. 

I would like to offer all patients the latest treatments in colorectal surgery including keyhole bowel surgery, THD treatment for haemorrhoids (piles) and new fistula treatments within a very friendly and personalised setting.

I have been awarded various Travelling Fellowships to the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Centre at Mt Sinai Hospital Toronto, the Laparoscopic Surgery Unit in Monaldi Hospital Naples and the Colorectal Units at Karolinksa University Hospitals Stockholm.

I specialise in treating all bowel conditions with keyhole surgery including single incision laparoscopic surgery. I have a special interest in treating low rectal cancer and haemorrhoids and fistulas.

Personal profile:

I am married with two children and enjoy driving, swimming and a bit of gardening when I have the time. I have a special interest in producing patient information videos and have produced a video for patients on recovery after bowel surgery and a new one on stomas for bowel surgery patients.
