Background Information 
Professional profile:
Mr Sampath runs a busy tertiary referral centre for lid, lacrimal and orbit surgery at Leicester Royal Infirmary and Spire Leicester Hospital. He is also an internationally recognised trainer for the subspeciality by the Royal College of Ophthalmologists. His team continues to present research papers done under his supervison at international conferences in Europe, USA, Asia. He holds honorary contract at various other hospitals like Queens Medical Nottingham, Milton Keynes and also a hospital in South India. He operates at these centres for complex pathology and for teaching purposes.

He is one of the few dedicated eyelid surgeons in the country. He trained at Manchester, Kings College Hospital and Moorfields Eye Hospital London.
