    Dr Holder is senior lecturer and honorary consultant at UCL Hospitals, London. He is jointly qualified in clinical neurophysiology and biophysics. He travels to Leicester once a fortnight to undertake tests in clinical neurophysiology, which are EEG (brainwave recording) EMG and nerve conduction studies (tests of muscle and nerve function.) He uses the latest electronic equipment, all tests are reported immediately and available electronically. On request EEG’s can be performed by his technician at other times with rapid reporting over the Internet.As well as being a consultant at UCLH, Dr Holder runs an inter-disciplinary research group, developing new methods of measuring brain and nerve function. He thus has the latest electronic equipment and has an interest in telemedicine.

    Dr Holder's hobbies are jogging, jazz and tennis. He also plays saxophone in a band.
