Who is affected by menstrual disorders?
Every woman’s menstrual cycle is unique and varies in length from individual to individual. For some, a cycle is as short as 21 days or as long as 35 days. Either way, your menstrual cycle involves a series of changes that affect your ovaries, uterus, vagina and breasts. Some women have little or no concerns when it comes to their menstrual cycle. However others can experience a range of emotional and physical symptoms including:

What happens at the initial consultation?
If you suffer from any of these problems, your GP can refer you to see one of our specialist gynaecologists.
During your first appointment, your doctor will review your medical history and after a thorough assessment will suggest one or more ways of investigating the problem. The results of which will then be discussed with you and treatment options offered.
Do I need a GP referral?
You will need a referral from your GP.
Will you send a report to my GP?
Yes, with your consent, a full report will be sent to your GP.
