Appointed Consultant Urologist 1992 after senior registrar training in West Midlands and gained full accreditation in Urology and intercollegiate FRCS(Urol) in 1991.

Mr Philip Weston was awarded Mastership in Surgery (M.Ch.) 1990.

Broad background and training in general and urological surgery. Mr Philip Weston has a particular interest in benign and malignant conditions of the prostate, bladder cancer and male sexual health. He offers screening (after appropriate counselling), prostatic biopsy and nerve-sparing radical prostatectomy in confirmed cases of prostate cancer. For bladder tumours, Mr Weston offers radical cystectomy and in appropriate cases, orthotopic bladder substitute.

Mr Weston also offers all types of surgery for Peyronies disease.
Personal profile:
Mr Philip Weston is married with two daughters and has many interests outside medicine.

Classic cars: Mr Weston owns a Daimler SP250 (Dart) and Lotus Elite Type 14(Coventry Climax). He has competed in classic car rallies and holds a National B race licence. Together with a close friend, Mr Weston competed in the Pre 1963 GT Feature race at the Sliverstone classic meeting in 2009, finishing 25th overall and 3rd in class. 

Sport: He cycles and follows rugby union. Mr Weston is the holder of Murrayfield debentures and has attended each of the last three rugby World Cup finals.

Rally co-driving: Mr Weston has co-driven the following vehicles - Toyota Twin Cam (Grp A), Escort Mark 2 RS (Grp A) and Proton Wira 4 WD (Grp N). He competes in National A events.

Singing: Mr Weston sings tenor in my church choir.
