Dr Lynne Rogerson was appointed as a consultant urogynaecologist and obstetrician at St James's Hospital in April 2003. She trained at Manchester Medical School in 1990. Initially Dr Rogerson joined a GP VTS in her home town of Halifax but decided a career change was in order when she enjoyed the obstetrics and gynaecology SHO post. Dr Rogerson successfully ascended the ranks of SHO, senior SHO and SPR training entirely in the Yorkshire region.

For a period of three years in clinical research at St James's University Hospital, Dr Rogerson worked towards a Doctor of Medicine based on outpatient gynaecological procedures and management of menstrual problems. During this time she produced multiple publications and international presentations. Dr Rogerson obtained accreditation in hysteroscopic surgery and a Postgraduate Certificate in Gynaecological Ultrasound. She also won a travel fellowship for further work in hysteroscopic sterilisation in Australia.

Dr Rogerson trained in urogynaecology in the Yorkshire region and is accredited to perform urodynamic studies. She performs all types of female incontinence procedures and pelvic floor repair. 

Dr Rogerson's areas of clinical interest are urogynaecology, female incontinence, prolapse repair, hysteroscopic surgery and outpatient therapeutic procedures.
